Bombers,

This was a busy week in Bomber Nation. We started ACT Aspire testing this week, and it will continue in the coming weeks. Please help support your children by getting them to bed early during testing, making sure they have breakfast, and encouraging them to do their very best. This is our students’ chance to show off what they have learned this year, and motivation from home is so important.

For families of students who take Pre-AP courses or who plan to take them in the future, we’re having a stakeholder meeting on Thursday, April 28 at 4:15-5:30 p.m. in the MHJH cafeteria. We are required to make changes to the way our Pre-AP courses are currently offered – including the option to adopt Pre-AP curriculum for all available classes for all students. Mrs. Partney, our GT coordinator, will share more information about this at the meeting, but I do want to assure you that even as we make changes to the Pre-AP program, no programming options will be lost and the rigor of our Pre-AP offerings will not decrease.

On Thursday, May 10 the Mruk Family Education Center on Aging will host another “Grandparents Raising Grandchildren” informational event. If you’re interested in attending, you can find more information here

Enjoy your weekend!
